A common problem with testing improvement programmes are that they restrict themselves to the team executing the software tests. Restricting the scope restricts the benefits. By extending the scope to include people engaged in a host of related activities you can achieve these additional benefits.For example, analysts and designers can be trained to remove ambiguities and bugs from their documents before they are set into code; or programmers can be coached to produce unit test information that can roll straight into system test, reducing the amount of time and effort spent on that stage.
