SAP® performance testing
SAP enterprise applications and business solutions are amongst the most widely used software applications in the business world. Every SAP implementation will involve a unique combination of application components from the business suite (SAP ERP, SAP CRM, SAP PLM, SAP SCM and SAP SRM). Organisations need to be confident that this combination performs well in their own environment. Customer-specific changes and enhancements will also need to be tested to ensure they will perform to expectations.
SAP performance testing overview
To help these organistions, we have developed the Acutest SAP performance and stress testing service. This combines the advanced features of our performance and load testing service with extensions specifically for SAP implemention projects. These extensions address:
- Modelling of usage patterns for SAP modules (such as ECC, CRM and HCM) to allow realistic SAP load test scenarios to be defined.
- Depending on business requirements, both SAP web testing (via SAP NetWeaver®) or SAPGUI client testing
- Testing tools to make best use of system resources. SAP tuning can be achieved using tools such as LoadRunner which integrate with CCMS (computing centre management system)
